Choreographer and Dancer trained in Kathak dance under the guidance of Pandit Satya Narayana Charka, of the East West School of Dance, Monroe, New York. Romanee had her basic teaching at the age of six with Gora Singh from Guyana. Romanee has also been privileged and blessed to undertake workshop classes from the Great Master Birju Maharaj, Sandhya Desai and Amita Dutt.

Romance has participated in several performances, namely at the First Global convention of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) at Sheraton Center in NYC. In 1989, Kristina Leela Ramayana; Shakuntala and for the past few years performed at the Annual Phagway (Holi) Parade, Queens Festival and Bengali Sammelan in Chicago in 1994. Co-choreographed the opening item of the Miss India Worldwide Pageant at the Long Island Marriott in 1995 sponsored by India Festival Committee.

Romanee has also performed several times at the East West School of Dance in Monroe, House of Worship in Maryland, City University in Vermont for Indian American Cultural Association of Westchester at Ardsley High School in Westchester, and for many cultural organizations including Federation of Indians Association (FIA) at the Annual India Day Parade, the Shri Chinmoy Center presentation, the Association of Indian Association (AIA) Annual Diwali Celebration at South Street Seaport, NYC and many others.

Romanee has performed before many heads of state and dignitaries including the late President of Guyana Cheddi Jagan, Rudy Insanally, the former President of the UN General Assembly, and the Mayor of New York City—Rudy Guiliani. She also performed live on stage with the legendary Manna Dey at the Queens Theatre in the Park, St. John’s University International Night and in Bayside High School International Festival in Latin and Indian semi-classical dance. Romanee appeared in the Rajkumari Cultural Center in the play "Sound of her Bells" and "Kitchrie". Most recently, Romanee performed under the banner of multicultural radio WKIB 1190 at the Queens Festival.
