China enjoys one of the ancient living civilizations in the world. Its
recorded history dates back to five thousand years ago. The Chinese nation is composed of
more than fifty nationalities such as Han, Tibetan, Mongolian and Korean. Buddhism, Taoism
and the Confucius philosophy form the dominant culture of China. Christianity, Catholic,
Muslin and other religions also exist in China. The ancient Chinese inventions such as the
techniques of powder, movable printing, paper and campuses contributed to the world
industrialization and civilizations.
One fourth of the world population lives in China, which has one
twentieth of the world arable land. Since 1980, the Chinese economy increased at a rate of
more than ten percent every year. As the largest developing country, China has been
developing its market economy while people there try to establish a new social benefit
system. Modernizing the country is the top of the national agenda. The Chinese people are
