The mission of the MULTICULTURAL AMERICAN
COALITION (MAC) is to bring together committed citizens and prominent
community leaders to:

Promote
economic development;
·
Provide
political education;
·
Support
projects, programs and events that promote positive intercultural
relations and help create a more harmonious and tolerant society;
·
Assist in
finding just and humanitarian solutions to immigration laws and
issues;
·
Support
public policies that respect and uphold the rights of immigrants;
·
provide a
forum for special interest groups;
·
Lobby for
causes of special interest to the Coalition’s members;
·
Conduct
public media forums with politicians, prospect elected officials, and
political candidates on issues of concern to the membership;
·
Build
public support on issues of interest to the membership;
·
Gather and
disseminate political information on matters of relevance to the
membership;
·
Create a
stronger political awareness and involvement by encouraging and
conducting naturalization and voters’ registration drives;
·
Engage in
activities that serve the community of the Coalition’s chapters and
members.
·
The
Coalition will accept contributions and donations as well as conduct
fund-raising activities for the carrying out of the aforesaid
purposes.
