Edward Juarez President of the International Immigrants Foundation received
2007 Latino Trendsetters Award

   Edward Juarez, President of the International Immigrants Foundation was selected as one of the top twenty 2007 Latino Trendsetters Award Recipients by DTM Publishing.

Mr. Juarez was selected by DTM’s Awards Review Board for his outstanding achievements and
leadership on behalf of the international immigrants’ communities for more than three decades.

In the words of Mr. Edward Juarez “This beautiful award that has been granted to me today, is the kind of incentive that inspire us possible to continuo our crusade on behalf of the immigrants at the International Immigrants Foundation. We will cherish and share it with all our people while we devote our efforts to legalize, guide and empowering immigrants “

Other recipients of this year award were Dr. Guillermo Linares, Commissioner of NYC Office of Immigrants Affairs; Dr Francisco Lorenzo, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic; Mr. Robert Abreu, VP of Goldman Sachs Informational Services; Rudy Beserra VP in charge of Latin Affairs for Coca Cola Company; Mario Paredes, Director of Business Development at Merrill Lynch.

This high profile event that took place on November 5 at United Nations Headquarters was attended by hundreds of government officials, head of corporations, media and community leaders.

Juan Guillen, Publisher of DTM Magazine, while emphasizing the nominees as “role models” of today and future generations also presented incentives scholarships to seven bright students of the tri-state area.
