A warm reception welcomed Governor Richardson at the International Immigrants Foundation, where a jubilant crowd anxiously awaited an interactive dialogue with the Governor of New Mexico.
Richardson, the first Latino running for the Democratic Presidential nomination, expressed his views on immigration staying that if elected President would implement a plan to legalize the 12 millions undocumented who are in the country. Also expressed his intentions of keeping an immigration policy “healthy and compassionate”, taking into account that immigrants are”people who want to improve the lives of their families”.
